The Management

The unit is run as a distinct and separately accountable entity from Cordery Build Ltd, its parent company, under the management of John Heywood and Stephen Jennings:

John Heywood - Joinery Manager

• Trained as a bench joiner in the shopfitting industry in the West Country.
• Subsequently worked on site before appointment as Workshop Manager for a large factory unit in West Midlands producing shop cabinetry and counters.
• Returned to Newton Abbott and set up own joinery manufacturing business which ran successfully for 15 years.
• Appointed CBL Joinery Manager in 2006
• Has overall management of the work. He has instigated a continuing programme of expanding the range of products offered and formalised workshop proceedures.
